As you know, yesterday saw the appointment of Elizabeth Mary Truss as the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, having replaced outgoing Prime Minister Boris Johnson as Leader of the Conservative Party the day before.

In the later hours of yesterday, Truss, fresh from giving her speech between rain showers outside the front door of Number 10 Downing Street, began appointing her Cabinet.

With the full team now appointed, PoliMonitor has done a small bit of analysis looking at this new cohort of 23 Cabinet ministers. So whilst Liz Truss faces Sir Keir Starmer at PMQs now for the first time, why not put your feet up and have a read?
